The Stranger
Test

If tomorrow a stranger picked up my phone and asked,
“Who was this man?”

I hope the answer wouldn’t begin with my job titles.

I’d rather they say:
He built things that continued helping people after he was gone.

Businesses.Technology.Organizations.Systems.

Not because he believed people were perfect.
Because he believed imperfect people deserved better tools.

He noticed waste. He noticed bureaucracy. He noticed unnecessary suffering.

Rather than complain, he built.

If anything survives me, I hope it isn’t my name.
I hope it’s the work.

Leave systems better than you found them.
